Privacy Policy

Denoise (the "Studio") is a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea. This policy explains what personal data we collect through denoisestudio.com, why, and how it is handled, as required by Article 30 of the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). The Korean version is the governing text; this English version is provided for convenience.

01Why we process personal data

We process personal data only for the purposes below. If a purpose changes, we will take the steps PIPA requires, such as obtaining separate consent.

  • Receiving and responding to enquiries sent through the website
  • Project consultation, quotes, and scheduling
  • Contact required to conclude, perform, and settle a contract

02What we collect and how

Through the contact form, we collect the details you enter yourself.

  • Required: name, email address, message
  • Optional: company or brand name, phone number

The following may be generated automatically while you use the site.

  • IP address, browser and OS, and time of access (hosting server logs)
  • If an error occurs: browser and OS details and the page involved, for diagnosis only. Anything you typed is masked before it leaves your browser.
  • A language-preference cookie (NEXT_LOCALE, one year). It only remembers the display language you chose and is not used to identify you or for advertising.

Contact-form data is processed without a separate consent step under PIPA Article 15(1)(4), as a measure taken at your request in the course of concluding a contract.

03How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for the period stated here or required by law.

  • Enquiry data: one year from the date received, then deleted
  • Where an enquiry leads to a contract: records of the contract, withdrawal, payment, and supply of services for five years (Korean E-Commerce Act)
  • Transaction evidence required by tax law for five years (Framework Act on National Taxes)

04Sharing with third parties

We do not share personal data with third parties except where you separately consent or where the law specifically requires it (PIPA Articles 17 and 18). We currently share none.

05Processors and overseas transfers

To operate the site we rely on the service providers listed below, all of which are located in the United States. Under PIPA Articles 26 and 28-8 we contractually require them to protect personal data and supervise their handling of it. You may refuse the overseas transfer, but the contact form cannot then be used; please email us directly instead.
